Gen C Hôtel Concepts

Exercise A:
Look up at least 2 of the following hotels - laptop + mobile
1/ Why do these hotels appeal to Gen C?
2/ How do the sites different from "traditional" hotels' sites ?
3/ What services + experiences do they offer?

Exercise B:
City Hub Amsterdam:
1/ What type of accommodations?
2/ How they pay their drinks?


EXERCICE 1:

  • Virgin Hotels:
1/ Virgin hotels are appealing to Gen C because they are always connected and they proposed to their customers to be connected at all time.

2/ Virgin hotels' sites are different from other "traditional" hotels' sites because it's very easy to use, with a lots of pictures and websites are adapted to mobile and tablets software. Virgin hotels have, as well, an mobile application.

3/ Virgin Hotels' customers can do on their smartphone, computer or tablets: Check'in, checkout, pay the bill, order room service, book a table in a restaurant, etc...


  • Radisson Red:
1/ Radisson Red are appealing to Gen C because they have a "future strategy" and they are, everyday, trying to adapt their marketing to the new marketing and to the generation C. 
As we can read it on their website:

2/ Radisson Blus' sites are different form other "traditional" hotels' site because they arz very funny, very attractive with videos and a lots of informations. Those websites look like a newspaper.

3/ Radisson Blus' customers evaluate in a special experience on those hotels: "The sense of arrival is a gallery, in those eyes it's artistic, energetic and proactive, in our eyes it is natural, humble, welcoming and just feels right. there's a great bar just beyond, simple food and drink done really well, all truly connected (...)".




            EXERCISE B:
1/ It is a hybrid hostel with share or private rooms.
2/ With a high-tech bracelets. With those bracelets, they can also open their room door.
